Greece has commenced the implementation of a labor import agreement with Egypt as part of its strategy to tackle demographic decline and labor shortages in key sectors. The agreement facilitates the recruitment of Egyptian workers to fill gaps in the Greek labor market, providing a legal and structured pathway for Egyptian nationals seeking employment opportunities abroad.
This initiative is a response to Greece’s aging population and declining birth rates, which have contributed to a diminishing domestic workforce.
