Solane Announces LPG Price Reduction Effective October 27, 2026

Unique Times

Solane will reduce retail prices of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) by PHP 4.55 per kilogram, equivalent to a PHP 50 discount on an 11-kg LPG tank, starting October 27, 2026, following government tax suspensions.

LPG supplier Solane has declared a price rollback for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) effective October 27, 2026. The company will lower prices by PHP 4.55 per kilogram, inclusive of value-added tax (VAT). This translates to a PHP 50 decrease for the commonly used 11-kilogram LPG tank.

This price adjustment follows President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos’s directive in September to suspend the collection of excise tax on LPG and kerosene. The executive order aimed to ease the burden on consumers amid elevated international crude oil prices that had driven up local petroleum product prices.

The rollback is expected to provide relief to households and businesses that rely on LPG for cooking and heating. Solane’s announcement aligns with government efforts to stabilize fuel prices and manage inflationary pressures affecting the Philippine economy.

Consumers are advised to look out for updated pricing in retail outlets starting October 27, 2026, as the new rates take effect.
