EDSA Busway Guadalupe Station to Reopen on November 6, 2026

The Department of Transportation announces the reopening of the rehabilitated EDSA Busway Guadalupe Station with enhanced commuter facilities.

The Department of Transportation (DOTr) of the Philippines has announced that the newly rehabilitated EDSA Busway Guadalupe Station is scheduled to reopen on November 6, 2026. Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon and Public Works Secretary Giovanni Lopez recently inspected the station as part of the government’s ongoing efforts to improve public transportation infrastructure and enhance commuter convenience. In line with President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s directive to prioritize commuter welfare, the DOTr has mandated the installation of proper toilets, ceiling fans, and additional seating at the busway stations. This initiative reflects continuous cooperation between the DOTr and the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) to ensure the sustainability of infrastructure projects and improve the daily commute for passengers along EDSA, a major thoroughfare in Metro Manila.
