The voter registration period for the 2026 BSKE began on October 20, 2025, and is scheduled to continue until May 18, 2026. Registration is available every day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at any satellite registration site or the respective COMELEC office of the election officer. The process accommodates new registrations, transfer of records, name or status changes, correction of entries, reactivation, inclusion, and reinstatement of voters’ names.

COMELEC aims to register around 1.4 million new voters during this registration period. The schedule for the BSKE was postponed from December 1, 2025, to the first Monday of November 2026 by a law signed by President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., which also establishes the election cycle every four years henceforth.

This registration update reflects strong participation nationwide and the ongoing efforts to ensure an inclusive electoral process ahead of the 2026 BSKE.
